Landfill Scale Operator (30 hours/week)

Box Elder County has an opening for Landfill Scale Operator (30 hours/Week) at the Landfill.  The Landfill Scale Operator greets public and operates the scale for the determination of landfill fees, answers telephone and directs calls to proper person.  Must be able to perform all functions involved in the collection and accounting of all landfill fees.  This position may be hired at full-time or part-time.

Those interested in this position must be a high school graduate or equivalent and have a basic understanding of math, basic computer skills with ability to use Windows-based programs.  Applicant must be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with other office employees, must be able to deal tactfully with the public, at times under stressful conditions, must have good communication skills.
