Box Elder County Water Master Plan Meetings
Box Elder County is working with the Bear River Water Conservancy District to create a County Water Master Plan (CWMP) by December 2025.
This plan will help manage our water resources sustainably, combining past efforts and best practices while aligning with new state regulations.
Key Highlights:
- Community Involvement: We want your input! Meetings will be held throughout the county to gather feedback from residents, city officials, and water companies.
- Seven Regions: The plan will focus on seven areas in Box Elder County, each with its unique water needs and opportunities.
- Thorough Analysis: We will evaluate both public and private water suppliers, analyze usage and infrastructure, and consider local growth patterns.
- Best Management Practices: We’ll adapt successful strategies from other regions to fit our local conditions and stay updated with legislative changes.
